As long as the pandemic persists, so will DC FanDome.

On Friday, Gal Gadot announced via TikTok that DC FanDome — DC Comics' event platform — is being revived for a Wonder Woman 1984 virtual premiere on Dec. 15 at noon PT/3 p.m. ET. Whereas this summer's DC FanDome event was basically a digital comic convention filled with panels for the publisher's TV shows, movies, and comics, this event is completely devoted to director Patty Jenkins' highly-anticipated superhero epic.

Taking place inside DC FanDome's Hall of Heroes, the premiere will begin with a behind-the-scenes featurette for the movie, which will lead right into the virtual red carpet hosted by Tiffany Smith and during which Jenkins, Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, and Pedro Pascal will answer fan questions. Once that is completed, Wonder Woman 1984 composer Hans Zimmer will treat attendees to a performance, followed by a sneak peek at the movie.

"We have the best fans in the world and that’s why we’re so excited to celebrate the launch of Wonder Woman 1984 in such a big way," Jenkins and Gadot said in a statement. "Having it be a virtual event allows us to share the moment with Wonder Woman superfans everywhere who might not otherwise have the chance to experience a movie premiere."

That being said, the virtual premiere isn't entirely online. "Lucky loyalty program members" will be given the chance to watch both the premiere on the big-screen and the entire full-length movie "in select CinemaSafe theaters." Meanwhile, everyone else in the states will have to wait 10 more days to see Wonder Woman 1984 on HBO Max (or in theaters).

A follow-up to 2017's World War I-set Wonder Woman, the movie catches up with Gadot's Diana Prince in the 1980s and pits her against two new big bads: Wiig's Cheetah and Pascal's Maxwell Lord. Oh, and Pine's Steve Trevor, the love of her life who heroically died in the first film, is somehow back from the dead.

You can watch Wonder Woman 1984 virtual premiere on DCFanDome.com, as on the HBOMax app or website, as well as across WarnerMedia and DC's many social channels.

Wonder Woman 1984 opens both in theatres and on HBO Max on Dec. 25.
