John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, and Elizabeth Debicki suit up for EW's Tenet portraits
Agents of cool
Debicki initially had to read the Tenet script in a small room on the Warner Bros. lot. "It does feel like a kind of club," says the actress, "and somehow I got the magical password and I got to suddenly experience the machinations of Chris Nolan's mind, which was fascinating."
Washington and Pattinson spent days in a car — with Pattinson driving — while shooting a chase sequence in Estonia. "Never a dull moment in a car with Rob, I'm telling you that for sure," says Washington.
Washington has spent lockdown perfecting his barbecue skills. "I'm going to start my own YouTube channel," he says. "I am Mr. Grillmeister."
Debicki has also been putting on her chef's hat during the pandemic. "I've been trying to stay centered," she says. "I do that with a lot of yoga, and with a lot of cooking."
