EW’s Tim Stack talked to Sophie Turner about the end of Game of Thrones and her upcoming role in the X-Men movie Dark Phoenix.
Sansa “really comes into her own this season” Turner said during the panel. “It’s a whole new series for her. She’s been kind of lost. She doesn’t know who she wants to be or who wants to surround herself with. This season, she is very self-assured.”
Dark Phoenix is scheduled to hit theaters June 7, 2019, and the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones is slated to arrive in 2019.
Filmmakers Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok, What We Do in the Shadows), Drew Goddard (Bad Times at the El Royale), and Simon Kinberg (Dark Phoenix) sat down for EW’s Visionaries panel at New York Comic Con.
