If your social media profile is anything like mine then you will have seen a lot of memes referencing Edgar Wright's 2004 zombie comedy Shaun of the Dead as the coronavirus crisis has gotten worse. In particular, memes highlighting the scene in which Simon Pegg's titular sort-of hero lays out his plan to hunker down at his local London pub The Winchester Tavern "and wait for all this to blow over."

Of course, going to your local "boozer" is exactly what governments across the world are pleading with people not to do. Perhaps with that in mind, Pegg and his Shaun of the Dead costar Nick Frost comedically, and informatively, riff on the sequence in a new video (while also apologizing, or at least attempting to explain, the homophobic slur used by Frost's character Ed in the film).

"If you can," says Pegg in the video, "stay at home, have a cup of tea, and wait for all this to blow over."

The result is a piece of fried gold which you can see above.
