Bill Murray has returned to the iconic role of Phil Connors from 1993’s Groundhog Day for a special Super Bowl commercial.

The comedy tells the story of Connors, a TV weatherman who is stuck repeating the same day over and over again until he learns some valuable lessons. Throughout his adventures on that fateful Groundhog Day, Connors meets a long list of interesting characters including an insurance salesman named Ned Ryerson, played by One Day at a Time‘s Stephen Tobolowsky.

Murray and Tobolowsky were reunited in the ad, and yes, there is an adorable groundhog in the mix. The pair slip right back into the roles seamlessly nearly 30 years after the original.

The promo for the Jeep Gladiator hilariously puts Murray back in the driver’s seat, with the groundhog sitting shotgun — albeit, a much more modern, and stylish vehicle.
