Little (2019 movie)

If Justin Hartley was your teacher, wouldn’t you want to do your homework too?

In an exclusive clip from the upcoming comedy Littlestarring Marsai Martin (black-ish), Issa Rae (Insecure), and Regina Hall (Girls Trip) — Jordan (played by both Martin and Hall over the course of the film) is a little smitten when she meets her new teacher Mr. Marshall, played by This Is Us star Hartley — he even gets a nice, slow-mo intro scene.

Hall plays the adult-version of Jordan — a somewhat tyrannical tech mogul who is terrible to her employees, including her assistant April (Rae). One morning when she is particularly awful to everyone, she is transformed into her 13-year-old self (played by Martin) in a magical bid to make her remember the joy and innocence of childhood and just generally be a better person.

But being a teen again means enrolling in school. Luckily for Jordan, Mr. Marshall is the very attractive Hartley. Indeed, both April and Jordan’s first response to seeing him is merely “damn.” When April finds her words she goes on to say, “I’m single, but not looking. I’m not desperate, I’m just… open and available,” and Jordan makes him promise to pay her special attention all day — not entirely appropriate when she’s back to looking like a 13-year-old.

Watch the clip above. Little hits theaters April 12.
