“You trust me?” What kind of question is that? With tickets now on sale for Avengers: Endgame, we’ll follow team Marvel anywhere, including the final installment of what’s been dubbed the Infinity Saga of superhero movies.
In the latest teaser for the final showdown with Thanos, the Mad Titan returns, suited up to take on his foes once again. But this time, our heroes are changed.
Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) reunites with Pepper (Gwyneth Paltrow) and buries the hatchet with Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) after their strife in Captain America: Civil War. They also have a game-changing new teammate: Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel is shown flying earth’s mightiest heroes into space. Sure, trailers can be misleading — sometimes purposefully — but it looks like they’re heading for Thanos.
“You could not live with your own failure,” Thanos says. “Where did that bring you? Back to me.”
Evans, Downey, and Larson stand beside Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow, Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye (or, rather, Ronin now), Don Cheadle’s War Machine, Karan Gillan’s Nebula, Bradley Cooper’s Rocket, and Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man.
Along with the teaser comes a new IMAX poster of the remaining Avengers line-up, including the still-alive Okoye (Danai Gurira) and Wong (Benedict Wong).
Along with the teaser comes sales information on Marvel’s epic 22-film marathon, which brings a massive binge of all the films in the MCU thus far. It’s a 12-theater experience, with 11 in the U.S. and one in Canada, that begins on Tuesday, April 23 and finishes with Avengers: Endgame at 5 p.m. local time on Thursday, April 25.
Or, you can just purchase a ticket for just Endgame when the film arrives on April 26.
