The Predator is back in first trailer — and it's all Jacob Tremblay's fault
Jacob Tremblay, you deserve to be grounded for this one.
In the first trailer for director Shane Black’s The Predator, the universe’s most lethal hunters are back and, unfortunately, they’re stronger, smarter, and deadlier. And what brings about their return? A young boy (Tremblay) opening a package that, honestly, probably wasn’t even addressed to him!
This leads to a hunt in the streets of a small suburban town that involves a disgruntled science teacher (Olivia Munn) and a crew of ex-soldiers, which includes Boyd Holbrook (Narcos), Trevante Rhodes (Moonlight), and Sterling K. Brown (This Is Us).
“Shane has his whole take on it and it’s very different than the original Predator,” Brown previously told EW. “It’s got a really wicked sense of humor to it, which I love about it. And it’s got a real camaraderie amongst the main characters that I think folks will be attracted to.
The Predator, which also stars Keegan-Michael Key and Thomas Jane, opens in theaters on Sept. 14. Watch the trailer above.
