Ron Howard may have replaced the original directors of Solo: A Star Wars Story, but he’s sure not ever going to replace the actor who plays Chewbacca.

The veteran filmmaker was asked to his impression of a Wookiee during a Twitter Q&A on Monday and the below video clip — which without knowing the context seems like something that would inspire a bystander to call 911 — was the result:

Howard also revealed that his favorite Star Wars movie was, well, Star Wars — a.k.a. A New Hope — which he saw twice on the same day back in 1977:
