It’s a sad day when you have to learn about your own death via the internet.

On Monday, Justice League actor Henry Cavill posted a hilarious (despite the subject matter) photo on Instagram debunking his own death two days ago.

The photo, a split between a bemused but very much alive-looking Cavill and a screenshot of Wikipedia biography box that states the date of his death as March 3, 2018, was captioned “When you learn that you died 2 days ago….” by the actor. Luckily most commenters seemed pleased to learn his reported demise was indeed inaccurate, with one fan writing, “Superman lives!” and another saying, “Hahaha. Looking good, considering…”

Cavill isn’t the first star to fall victim to death by fake internet reporting. Back in February, Sylvester Stallone had to share a post on Instagram to deny that he too had recently passed away.

At time of publication the mistake was yet to be corrected by Wikipedia.
