Ready Player One is all about the nostalgia and throwback pop culture references, and the latest trailer for Steven Spielberg’s upcoming sci-fi spectacular has plenty of ’em, starting with the choice of music.

The new spot is set to a cover of “Pure Imagination” from Gene Wilder’s 1971 Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. It’s a fitting choice, and as our hero Wade Watts (Tye Sheridan) introduces us to the immersive virtual reality world known as the OASIS, he explains: “It’s a place where the limits of reality are your own imagination.”

The OASIS was created by an eccentric genius named James Halliday (Mark Rylance), and after his death, the entire world sets out on a virtual reality treasure hunt for an Easter egg he hid somewhere within the program. Whoever finds the egg not only wins a massive fortune but gains control of the entire OASIS, and before long, Wade finds himself wrapped up in a massive battle with real-life consequences.

Like past trailers, this one introduces a whole score of hidden references, including Hello Kitty, the Iron Giant, and… is that Spielberg paying tribute to Spielberg with a split-second shot of the Jurassic Park T-rex?

Ready Player One will hit theaters March 29. Ben Mendelsohn, Simon Pegg, Lena Waithe, and Olivia Cooke also star.
