Appropriate for the first Mission: Impossible – Fallout poster, Tom Cruise literally falls out of a helicopter.

Ahead of the big trailer reveal during Sunday's Super Bowl game, the new one-sheet taps a common poster trend: the silhouette of a transparent Ethan Hunt (Cruise) encases a scene from the movie, one in which the international agent is dangling from a mid-air chopper.

It's a scene we've seen teased a few times already, one in a still Cruise shared over social media and others through photos from the set.

Director Christopher McQuarrie teased he might have found something to top the Rogue Nation opening scene where Cruise is hanging off the side of an airplane that's taking off. The more we see of this new chopper sequence, the more we suspect this could be it.

The leading man also shared the first clip from the Mission: Impossible – Fallout trailer that's set to debut on Sunday.

McQuarrie said of the sixth installment of the franchise, "There is the threat of nuclear terrorism hanging over the movie, which is the literal threat." Of the figurative meaning behind the Fallout title, he added, "There's the notion that what's happened in the movie is the end result of choices that Ethan Hunt has made in his life. It's Ethan's past come back to haunt him. It's the fallout of all his good intentions."

Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, Alec Baldwin, Ving Rhames, Angela Bassett, and Henry Cavill round out the principal cast, as Cruise has teased by sharing additional film stills.

Mission: Impossible – Fallout opens in theaters on July 27.
