The movie receives its world premiere on Jan. 19

Mandy is set in what the film’s official synopsis describes as “the primal wilderness of the year 1983 A.D.” and stars Nicolas Cage as Red Miller, a broken and haunted man, hunting the unhinged religious sect who slaughtered the love of his life.

Consider us intrigued!

Mandy is directed by Panos Cosmatos (Beyond the Black Rainbow) and costars Andrea Riseborough and Linus Roache.

The film is produced by Daniel Noah, Josh C. Waller, and Elijah Wood for SpectreVision, Nate Bolotin for XYZ, and Adrian Politowski and Martin Metz for Umedia. The movie is executive produced by Nick Spicer, Lisa Whalen, Todd Brown, Peter Bevan, Christopher Figg, Maxime Cottray, and Robert Whitehouse.
