One of the most talked-about movies screened at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, the dark comedy Bitch stars Marianna Palka (who plays Reggie in the Netflix show GLOW) as a housewife who, after her philandering husband and unruly kids break her psyche, upends the family dynamic by assuming the persona of a vicious dog. And what possible relevance could any of that have to real-life society today?

Written and directed by Palka, Bitch costars Jason Ritter, (NBC’s Parenthood, Kevin [Probably] Saves the World), Jaime King (Sin City, Hart of Dixie), Brighton Sharbino (The Walking Dead), Rio Mangini (Teen Wolf), Kingston Foster (Fuller House), and Jason Maybaum. The film’s producers include Lord of the Rings trilogy and Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency actor, Elijah Wood.

Bitch is released in theaters and on VOD, Nov. 10. Watch the film’s trailer, above.
