'Hunger Games' actress Leven Rambin finds a mysterious child in Tatterdemalion trailer
In the new thriller Tatterdemalion, Leven Rambin (Hunger Games, True Detective) plays an army veteran suffering from PTSD who returns home to the Ozarks to look for her brother, who she was separated from as a child. As she searches, she stumbles upon an abandoned boy living in the woods. Rambin’s character takes the boy into her home and soon discovers that she has entered a mysterious world of folk lore, clan rules and lies.
Tatterdemalion is directed and cowritten by Ramaa Mosley (The Brass Teapot). The film costars Jim Parrack (True Blood, Battle: Los Angeles), Taylor John Smith (American Crime, HBO’s upcoming Sharp Objects) and Landon Edwards.
Tatterdemalion is screening at the Heartland Film Festival in Indianapolis on Oct. 14 and 15.
