In 1976, Brad Dourif scored an Oscar nomination for his unforgettable performance as the tragic psychiatric patient Billy Bibbit in Milos Forman’s classic One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Now, four decades on, it is Dourif’s daughter Fiona who finds herself receiving psychiatric treatment as Nica in the latest Child’s Play film, Cult of Chucky. And judging by an exclusive new clip from the movie, her character doesn’t seem to enjoy the process any more than poor Billy did.

Cult of Chucky is written and directed by longtime franchise architect Don Mancini and costars the aforementioned Brad Dourif as the voice of Chucky, along with Jennifer Tilly (a fellow Oscar nominee), Alex Vincent, Adam Hurtig, and Michael Therriault.

Universal will release Cult of Chucky on Blu-ray, DVD, and digital formats Oct. 3.
