Watch Gal Gadot crack up in Wonder Woman bloopers

If you’ve ever heard or read about Gal Gadot’s time filming Wonder Woman with director Patty Jenkins, you’ll know she had a blast. In a brief new blooper reel from the film posted to social media, you’ll get a sense of just how much fun was had by all.

Gadot can’t keep a straight face during shooting mishaps with cast mate Chris Pine. “Chris’s nickname for me was giggle Gadot,” the leading lady tweeted on Saturday. “@PattyJenks & I could communicate with no words. I enjoyed filming every second of the movie.”

Pine joked with EW, “Basically my job was falling in love with the beautiful Gal and try to make her giggle.” That comes across here. From her fish-out-of-water scenes with the ice cream to her undercover party scene with Pine, Gadot is all smiles — and isn’t that what Wonder Woman is all about? A superhero who does more than punch.

“If women have to always be hard, tough and troubled to be strong, and we aren’t free to be multidimensional or celebrate an icon of women everywhere because she is attractive and loving, then we haven’t come very far have we,” Jenkins wrote in response to James Cameron’s remarks on the film. “I believe women can and should be EVERYTHING just like male lead characters should be. There is no right and wrong kind of powerful woman.”
