New York Comic Con continues to grow every year with events spilling beyond the Javitz Center in Manhattan. Panels and screenings have begun taking over Madison Square Garden for massive showings of some of television and Hollywood’s biggest offerings. While this year is short on movies, there’s still some sneak peeks of high-profile works coming to the city this October that you can’t miss.

The main event from the film world is Pacific Rim Uprising, the sequel to Guillermo del Toro’s giant-robot-versus-kaiju-monster slugfest. Steven S. DeKnight (Netflix’s Daredevil) is now in the director’s seat and John Boyega (Star Wars: The Last Jedi) gets his own Jaeger as the son of Idris Elba’s Stacker Pentecost. The panel presentation will bring the new trailer to Madison Square Garden.

The TV side will bring the usual fair — like The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, Once Upon a Time, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. — as well as new looks at upcoming series. New footage of Marvel’s Hulu series The Runaways will drop on Friday, previews of The Punisher (starring Jon Bernthal) and Star Trek: Discovery (starring Sonequa Martin-Green) are coming on Saturday, and Warner Bros. Television has Sunday plotted out with Hulu’s Stephen King drama Castle Rock, Fox’s Gotham, and NBC’s Blindspot.
