The First Order has upped its cuteness level for Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Unveiled Thursday for Force Friday II, the villainous droid BB-9E is an early breakout star from the film, which doesn’t arrive in theaters until Dec. 15.

As noted by Sphero, which released the app-enabled droid for home use, BB-9E “is a menacing astromech droid of the First Order” that “specializes in keeping starships and machinery fully operational.”

In addition to the Sphero product, BB-9E also comes in LEGO and Funko POP! forms.

Little is known how BB-9E will factor into the film, but director Rian Johnson did reveal one tidbit about the breakout droid: his onset nickname.

“Just be thankful we didn’t stick with his obscenely adorable on set nickname, BB-H8,” Johnson wrote on Twitter.

On social media, BB-9E was quickly embraced.
