It was announced Thursday that this year’s Brooklyn Horror Film Festival will screen director Joe Lynch’s film Mayhem and the documentary, To Hell and Back: The Kane Hodder Story. Mayhem stars former Walking Dead actor Steven Yeun as a man who is fired from his cozy legal job just as the dreaded rage-inducing “ID7 virus” causes his office building to be quarantined. To Hell and Back details the life and career of stuntman-turned-actor Hodder, whose credits include playing Jason Voorhees in four Friday the 13th movies and portraying the titular killer in the upcoming slasher sequel, Victor Crowley.

Other additions to the BHFF lineup as part of the final wave of programming include director Simon Rumley’s Fashionista, the Icelandic movie Rift, and closing night film The Book of Birdie, about a fragile teenager whose hallucinations, dark obsessions, and fascination with blood are triggered as she’s forced into a remote convent.

The Brooklyn Horror Film Festival takes place in Brooklyn, New York, from Oct. 12-15. Learn more about at the event’s website.
