The new, screened-at-SXSW thriller Gemini concerns a heinous crime that tests the complex relationship between a tenacious personal assistant and her Hollywood starlet boss. As the assistant unravels the mystery, she confronts her own understanding of friendship, truth, and celebrity.
Or, as more than a few Los Angeles publicists probably refer to that scenario, “Monday.”
Gemini stars Lola Kirke (Mozart in the Jungle, Gone Girl), Zoë Kravitz (Mad Max: Fury Road, Big Little Lies), Nelson Franklin (Veep, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World), Greta Lee (St. Vincent), James Ransone (In a Valley of Violence, How to Make It in America), and John Cho (the Star Trek franchise, Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle).
Neon will release Gemini in theaters in the spring of 2018.
