Eli Roth's new film is out, Nov. 22

Horror-loving director Eli Roth heads into thriller territory this fall with Death Wish (out Nov. 22), the Hostel auteur’s adaptation of novelist Brian Garfield’s vigilante tale, which was previously (and controversially) brought to the big screen by British filmmaker Michael Winner. Bruce Willis stars as Dr. Paul Kersey, whose wife (Elisabeth Shue) and college-age daughter (Camila Morrone) are viciously attacked in their suburban home. With the police overloaded with crimes, Kersey hunts his family’s assailants to deliver justice. As the anonymous slayings of criminals grabs the media’s attention, the city wonders if this deadly vigilante is a guardian angel or a grim reaper.

“Fans of the original will not be disappointed and fans of my films, in particular, will not be disappointed,” Roth told EW earlier this year. “Bruce Willis really really brings his A-game. I’m so excited for people to see it.
