The new thriller 68 Kill stars Matthew Gray Gubler (Criminal Minds) as a hard-working guy called Chip, who can’t say no to beautiful women and gets in over his head when he agrees to help his girlfriend Liza (AnnaLynne McCord) steal $68,000. But what was supposed to be a simple heist turns into an off-the-rails, blood-spattered crime spree and Chip learns the hard way just how deranged the love of his life really is.

68 Kill is written and directed by Cheap Thrills co-writer Trent Haaga and costars Alisha Boe (Paranormal Activity 4, 13 Reasons Why) and Sheila Vand (A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night). The film received its world premiere at this year’s SXSW Festival and recently screened at the Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal.

IFC Midnight is releasing 68 Kill in select theaters, on VOD, and via digital platforms on Aug. 4.
