Since accepting directing duties on the young Han Solo movie, Ron Howard has been eagerly sharing behind-the-scenes looks at production. Our latest glimpse, though, doesn't come from this self-proclaimed Star Wars fan, but courtesy of Emilia Clarke and her now 10,000,000 followers on Instagram.

Celebrating her social media milestone, the actress recorded a video of Chewbacca from the film's set at Pinewood Studios and his reaction to the news. "Yup. Those dreamboats at @starwars said yes, this furry ball of joy could help me thank you personally," Clarke wrote to her fans.

Joonas Suotamo takes over the role of Chewie, originated by Peter Mayhew, in the Han Solo standalone story. "You are more than just a cute nose and lotta hair to me," Clarke wrote of her costar.

Star Wars fans have also seen looks at Chewbacca's home life, a sneak peek at Donald Glover's role as a younger Lando Calrissian, and some of the costumes — all by way of Howard. The filmmaker recently confirmed a reunion with his Willow star and Ewok actor Warwick Davis for the still untitled movie.

On Friday, Howard shared another set photo, this time with cinematographer-on-the-rise Bradford Young (Arrival).

The film, the latest in Lucasfilm's line of standalone Star Wars chapters, also stars Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo and Phoebe Waller-Bridge as an unspecified motion-capture character. Despite the director drama this summer, Han Solo is scheduled for theaters on May 25, 2018.
