Michael Giacchino's score for 2014's Dawn of the Planet of the Apes brought the Emmy/Grammy/Oscar-winning composer's swoony grandeur to the primate-apocalypse franchise. The Apes franchise has had a murderers' row of great composers – Jerry Goldsmith, Danny Elfman, Patrick Doyle – but Giacchino's soundtrack added impressive layers to the rebooted saga of noble Caesar (Andy Serkis).

Now, the always-in-demand Giacchino is back, scoring next week's highly-anticipated War for the Planet of the Apes. EW is excited to share an exclusive track from Giacchino's film score: the end credits music from War. <iframe id="player" src=";partnerId=346c2586-d3f8-4b75-ba0d-398fdb6e4c08&amp;partnerAdCode=" width="640" height="390" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" class="" scrolling="no" resize="0" replace_attributes="1" name=""></iframe>
