Anyone who has seen Spike Lee’s 1989 film Do the Right Thing probably remembers the iconic moment when Radio Raheem (the late Bill Nunn) delivers his speech about love and hate. The two forces, represented by Raheem’s new knuckle rings, are engaged in a boxing match for humanity — and love wins.
Lee and Nunn reunited in 2013 on the block where they filmed so they could recreate the moment, and the PEOPLE/Entertainment Weekly Network (PEN) is re-airing the video in honor of Do the Right Thing‘s 28th anniversary today as a part of its series, Entertainment Weekly Cast Reunions.
“You still remember the lines?” Lee calls out. “You gotta do it.” Lee, ever the director, films with his iPhone.
