Macaulay Culkin to appear in Seth Green's directorial debut, Changeland
Last year’s experimental Adam Green’s Aladdin aside, it’s been a decade since Macauley Culkin last appeared in a film. But it was announced Wednesday that the star of Home Alone and Saved! has been cast in Changeland, the directorial debut of actor and Robot Chicken cocreator Seth Green.
The film stars Green as a hesitant character undergoing a personal crisis as he meets up in Thailand with his self-assured best friend, portrayed by Breckin Meyer. Green also wrote Changeland, which costars Brenda Song, Clare Grant, Rose Williams, Kedar Williams-Stirling, and WWE Superstar Randy Orton.
“It feels like a dream to be filming in Thailand with an incredible crew and some of my closest friends,” said Green in a statement.
Green and Culkin costarred in the 2003 film Party Monster and the latter has voiced several characters on Robot Chicken.
