Melissa McCarthy is ready to sleigh.

EW has confirmed that New Line Cinema has purchased the pitch for Margie Claus, a holiday-themed musical comedy set to star McCarthy as the wife of a missing Saint Nick.

In addition to headlining and making her singing debut, McCarthy will produce the film alongside her husband and frequent collaborator Ben Falcone. Falcone will also direct, from a script written by him and Damon Jones.

The story centers on McCarthy’s titular character, who is prompted to leave the North Pole for the first time in years when Santa Claus goes missing while delivering presents on Christmas Eve, threatening to derail the holiday.

McCarthy was most recently seen on the big screen in Ghostbusters and The Boss, and she earned rave reviews skewering White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer on the latest season of Saturday Night Live.

Margie Claus is slated to hit theaters Nov. 15, 2019. The Hollywood Reporter first reported the news.
