Tom Holland’s Peter Parker wants to be more than just a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, and he gets his chance in the new Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer. The latest footage from Marvel reveals more of the teenage web-slinger’s tricks, as Michael Keaton’s Vulture descends upon his home turf of Queens, New York.

The trailer further paints a better picture of where we are with Spidey. Peter got a taste of what it’s like to fight alongside the Avengers in Captain America: Civil War, so going back to helping old ladies with directions and stopping bike thieves seems like a downgrade — even if he does get the occasional churro as a reward.

The fight becomes much larger when a group of ATM bank robbers surprise our hero with high-tech weaponry, setting him towards a collision with Vulture. Little do they know, Spider-Man has his own gadgets. Thanks to Tony Stark’s super suit, Peter gets an A.I. helper informing him of the “576 possible web-shooter combinations,” as well as an emergency parachute that comes in handy when Vulture delivers a deadly drop. This becomes Peter’s chance to prove himself a hero to Stark, or so he thinks.

The trailer also features snippets of Donald Glover, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau’s return as Happy Hogan, Spidey’s homemade suit after he loses his new duds, and Iron Man’s “Training Wheels Protocol” hindering Peter’s gear.

Spider-Man: Homecoming, directed by Jon Watts, will hit theaters on July 7. Watch the trailer above.
