Watch Hugh Grant dance to 'Hotline Bling' in Love Actually sequel special
David has 'One Dance'
A Love Actually sequel wouldn’t be complete without Hugh Grant dancing, and he has delivered with an injury-riddled rendition of “Hotline Bling.”
The ensemble cast for the 2003 romantic comedy reassembled for a short follow-up in support of Red Nose Day, with the special airing in the U.K. on Friday. While American viewers will have to wait until May 25, Prime Minister David’s dance moves will serve as an appetizer.
In a nod to Grant’s memorable frolic through his resident to the tune of “Jump (For My Love),” the character is still getting in his nightly dance party, this time to Drake’s Grammy-winning track.
Apparently, this wasn’t just one dance, considering after a fall, David gets reminded he’s been told not to dance down the stairs.
“Once or twice,” he replies. “When I hear that ‘Hotline Bling,’ that can only mean one thing.”
