Horror film about killer fetus offers free tickets to pregnant women
- TV Show
It was announced today that pregnant women can get free tickets for a New York screening of the new film Prevenge, which is taking place at the IFC Center at 8:15 p.m. ET on March 20. The event is hosted by the streaming service Shudder and will be attended by the film’s British writer-director-star Alice Lowe, who was almost eight months pregnant herself when she made the movie. Sounds like a bargain? Sure does! We should warn you, however, that Prevenge is a horror movie about a woman named Ruth (Lowe) who embarks on a killing spree under the instructions of her unborn child. But if you’re pregnant and that sounds like a good time, then you can apply for a free ticket by RSVP-ing to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Prevenge costars Gemma Whelan, Kate Dickie, and Jo Hartley. The film opens in New York and Los Angeles on March 24 and will also be available to watch nationwide on Shudder from that date.
