A superhero’s job doesn’t stop after leaving the set. Hugh Jackman posted a new behind-the-scenes video from Logan, showing the ADR (automated dialogue replacement) process used to bring one of his more intense scenes to life.

The footage shows Jackman in a recording studio performing grunts, pants, battle cries, and other vocal responses to be layered over one of Wolverine’s wooded fight sequences against The Reavers. The actor, 48, is left breathing heavily as he sheds the character and turns to camera with a friendly, “Hi.”

This past weekend, Jackman released another behind-the-scenes look of him leaving the Logan set on his last day of filming reshoots. With this latest film, directed by James Mangold, he appeared as Wolverine a total of nine times across the X-Men franchise.

Watch his behind-the-scenes work below.

Logan is now playing in theaters.
