Can’t stop the sequel.

Just a few days after Justin Timberlake performed “Can’t Stop the Feeling” at the Academy Awards, DreamWorks Animation and Universal Pictures announced that a follow-up to Trolls is in the works.

Timberlake and Anna Kendrick lent their voices to the first film, playing the grumpy Branch and the joyful Poppy, respectively. DreamWorks has confirmed that they will both return for Trolls 2, which is scheduled to hit theaters April 10, 2020.

The original Trolls, which was directed by Mike Mitchell and Walt Dohrn, opened in November, raking in $153.5 million domestically and $339.5 million worldwide. Zooey Deschanel, Gwen Stefani, James Corden, Ron Funches, Jeffrey Tambor, and Russell Brand all voiced characters in the first film, and Timberlake scored his first-ever Oscar nomination for co-writing “Can’t Stop the Feeling.”
