A sneak peek at the new film will debut during this week's 'Legion'

Get to know the cast of Alien: Covenant before any number of them meet a very bloody, brutal end.

Michael Fassbender and Katherine Waterston join their fellow actors in a new cast photo, which also includes James Franco. The actor played coy about his role in Covenant in previous interviews, but he’s 100 percent confirmed here as he’s spotted wearing a Covenant crew member T-shirt.

Danny McBride, Billy Crudup, Demián Bichir (The Hateful Eight), Carmen Ejogo (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them), Jussie Smollett (FOX’s Empire), Amy Seimetz (The Girlfriend Experience), Callie Hernandez (Blair Witch), Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England, and Benjamin Rigby also feature.

The new look at the cast arrives ahead of a new sneak peek that will drop during Wednesday’s episode of Legion, airing on FX at 10 p.m. ET.

Alien: Covenant, directed by Ridley Scott as a sequel to Prometheus, centers on the crew of the Covenant colony ship, which is heading for a remote planet deep in space. What they hope to be an uncharted paradise of sorts quickly reveals itself to be dark and full of terrors. Fassbender plays dual androids, David and Walter, while Waterston channels her inner Ripley as Daniels.

Fox screened footage of the film to press last year before unveiling the official trailer on Christmas Day. In short, not all of these folks will be making it out alive.

Alien: Covenant will open in theaters on May 19.
