Netflix released a teaser for Sandy Wexler on Thursday, a new film starring Adam Sandler as the titular Los Angeles talent manager representing a group of clients on the cusp of fame.

The movie is set in 1994, wonderfully nostalgic fashion and all, and focuses on the life of Wexler as it’s thrown for a loop when he falls in love with a new client played by Jennifer Hudson, a talented singer who he discovers at an amusement park.

If the teaser’s any indication, Wexler seems in line with the roles Sandler is best known for — a bumbling, but lovable doofus. In the clip, Wexler ambles onto a movie set without realizing and begins asking questions, only to be quickly ushered out.

The star-studded cast also includes Kevin James, Terry Crews, Lamorne Morris, Nick Swardson, Rob Schneider, Jane Seymour, Aaron Neville, and Arsenio Hall. Sandler wrote the Steven Brill-directed script, along with Paul Sado and Dan Bulla.

Sandy Wexler will premiere April 14 on Netflix.
