It’s been almost an entire year since Ben Affleck went viral — and apparently, he’s still not over it.

Last March, shortly after the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, a fan remixed a junket interview of Affleck responding to the film’s less-than-stellar reviews. As his costar and superhero nemesis Henry Cavill answers the interviewer’s question, Affleck simply stares into the void as Simon & Garfunkel’s “The Sound of Silence” plays quietly. The video quickly took off, racking up more than 22 million views before it was taken down for copyright infringement, and “The Sound of Silence” even climbed the Billboard rock charts as a result.

In the wake of the video, Affleck stayed, um, silent, but now, he’s finally responding, telling a BBC Radio 1 interview that of all the things he learned from working on Batman v Superman, there was one thing that stood above everything else.

“It taught me not to do interviews with Henry Cavill where I don’t say anything, and they can lay Simon & Garfunkel tracks over it,” Affleck said, laughing. “That’s one thing I learned.”

Watch Affleck’s response (and a clip of the original meme) above.
