Jemaine Clement is no stranger to David Bowie homages, having honored the late musician on his HBO comedy Flight of the Conchords. The actor once again channeled Bowie in Moana, a performance that can now be seen in full.

After previously releasing footage of Dwayne Johnson’s rendition of “You’re Welcome,” Disney has shared a clip of Clement’s groovy tune, “Shiny.” His narcissistic crab Tamatoa taunts Moana (Auli’i Cravalho) and Maui (Johnson) in the Bowie-inspired track, which was written by Lin-Manuel Miranda.

“I’ve known of Jemaine’s gifts even before the TV show,” Miranda told PEOPLE. “Their Bowie tribute, which they did back at the Aspen Comedy Festival, was so brilliant, I said, ‘Oh, I’m writing that.’ The world had already been mourning Bowie, I’d been listening to Bowie on a loop. I was like, well I’m writing a glam rock tune for this crab, this jewel-encrusted crab.”

Miranda was recently nominated for Best Original Song at the Golden Globes for penning, “How Far I’ll Go.”
