That's no moon, but it might be a good Life Day treat.

Some dedicated Star Wars fans celebrated the holidays by creating an impressive gingerbread Death Star.

The festive take on the Empire's weapon of mass destruction is made of curved gingerbread, welded with icing, and decorated with snowflakes, wreaths, gingerbread men, and candy canes. A photo of the project posted to Imgur on Saturday also shows floating presents and starfighters strung from the ceiling.

It looks less menacing than the real Death Star, but certainly more delicious.
