The Predator may have found some new prey. Olivia Munn is in negotiations to star in Shane Black’s upcoming installment of the action franchise about aliens who hunt other species for sport, EW has confirmed.

The X-Men: Apocalypse and Newsroom actress would join leading man Boyd Holbrook in the film.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, which first reported the news, Munn would play a scientist, Holbrook will play a special forces soldier, and the movie will feature a suburban setting. A spokesperson for 20th Century Fox did not immediately respond to EW’s request for comment.

Black, who had a supporting role in the original Predator nearly three decades ago, is directing the new movie and co-wrote the script with Fred Dekker. The Predator marks the fourth standalone film in the series — that is, not counting two Alien vs. Predator movies — and Black has characterized it as an “inventive sequel” rather than a straight reboot. It’s scheduled to hit theaters Feb. 9, 2018.

Munn was last seen on the big screen playing Psylocke in X-Men: Apocalypse, and her upcoming projects include Office Christmas Party and The Lego Ninjago Movie.
