Golden Globes 2018: Who should win?
The 75th annual Golden Globes mark the official start of winter awards season, and all the action goes down this Sunday, Jan. 7 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on NBC.
Many of the winners can serve as predictors for who will continue to take home gold throughout awards season all the way to the Oscars on March 4, but the Globes are also known to have at least one shocking and unexpected win.
With talent ranging from Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks to Saoirse Ronan and Jessica Chastain and Guillermo del Toro to Aaron Sorkin all up for awards, the night promises to be a star-studded evening filled with Hollywood's most talented.
What's more, while movies often dominate the awards conversation in January and February, the Golden Globes also honor the best television of the past year — Big Little Lies, Feud: Bette and Joan, The Handmaid's Tale, This Is Us, and Fargo all lead this year's TV nominees. Regardless of who takes home gold, we all have our favorites and our opinions on who is the most deserving.
