The Stranger Things kids are trading the Upside Down for the Golden Globes — and they’re absolutely thrilled.

A video released minutes after the Golden Globe nominations were announced Monday shows four of the series’ kids reacting to the news that their Netflix hit is a contender for Best Television Series, Drama. In the clip above, Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair), and Noah Schnapp (Will Byers) are all gathered on a couch in a hotel room to watch the announcement together. As Don Cheadle gets to their category, three of the boys cross their fingers. And then comes the good news.

“Yesss!” the stars shout in unison. Soon, there’s a big bear hug that might remind fans why the show became a cultural phenomenon this summer.

There’s more good news for stars of the Duffer Brothers’ nostalgic thriller: Winona Ryder, who plays Schnapp’s on-screen mother Joyce, is nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a TV Series, Drama.

Prior to the announcement, the costars hit the red carpet at Sunday’s Critics’ Choice Awards in Los Angeles.

Check out their reaction to the Golden Globes nod in the video above, and click here for the complete list of nominees.
