Golden Globes 2016: Maura Tierney wins Best Supporting Actress for 'The Affair'
The Affair star Maura Tierney took home her first Golden Globe Sunday night for her portrayal of Helen Solloway on Showtime’s The Affair.
Beating out Orange Is the New Black star Uzo Aduba, Downton Abbey actress Joanne Froggatt, American Crime star Regina King, and Transparent performer Judith Light, Tierney took the stage and thanked her fellow actresses and castmate Dominic West, who she cited for giving the “Best Performance by a Male in a Role that Makes Every Woman Hate Him.”
This is the first major award for Tierney.
