Behind the scenes of EW's 'Walking Dead' photo shoot
Andrew Lincoln, Melissa McBride, and Norman Reedus get into character to shoot the newest cover of Entertainment Weekly.
Bite me! A prop assistant shows a cookie made for Melissa McBride to hold during the photo shoot.
Fun fact: It was photographer Dan Winters who took the bite out of the cookie.
The trio mean business while on the cover set.
Photographer Dan Winters (left) and digital tech Travis Smith (center) set up for the next shot.
The outdoor shots were taken on the same yard where Walking Dead filmed the prison scenes in season 3 and 4.
Lincoln and Reedus were behind McBride, and Lincoln started laughing and was unable to maintain any composure in front of the photographer's camera. Lincoln NEVER breaks character, even on a photo shoot. Lincoln yelled for Reedus to stop and Reedus shouted, ‘Why? No one’s gonna see this!’”
After a little investigating, we realized Reedus had been trying to hold Lincoln’s hand in the photos behind McBride’s back.
Then Reedus and Lincoln gave us something a little extra—taking their bromance to a whole other level.
