There is only one choice in my mind for a new Spidey, someone who is physically perfect, comedically spot on (something Maguire, um...wasn't) and someone who against all odds, can actually act: ANTON YELCHIN!? If there is a young actor working today that can disappear into an iconic role better, let me know. He re-invented [Star Trek's] Chekov brilliantly, was the ONLY enjoyable thing about Terminator Salvation, and even made Charlie Bartlett 10x better than it really was. (Well, him and RDJ.)? So yeah...Anton Yelchin. —Sean

?Jesse Eisenberg, the kid from Adventureland and Zombieland, could pull it off. [Peter Parker] needs to be geeky and awkward. He's a nerd, has very few friends, and is bullied at school. Being good looking needs to be secondary. —Monty

Joseph Gordon-Levitt, or someone similar, would be great. Someone with the capability to portray the weak and vulnerable Parker, along with the strong and determined alter-ego of Spider-Man. —SteveB

Lucas Till, the 19-year-old costar of The Spy Next Door and Battle: Los Angeles. Geeky yet cute. He can play a high schooler for at least two movies before Peter goes to college. —Snarf

What's the kid from A Serious Man doing right now? Aaron Wolff. He looks just like Peter Parker from the comics, minus the red hair, and he'd be old enough now. —Derek

Justin Long is a shoo-in for this part. Like Parker, he isn't a heartthrob, but he isn't a dopey looking guy either. —Finc

I think the guy on Heroes who plays Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia) would be an EXCELLENT choice. —Ernie

Topher Grace would be perfect, yes he was Venom [in Spider-Man 3], but he would be a perfect Peter Parker as the comics had him. —Beck

OK, forget the high school thing. Go with Jensen Ackles [Supernatural and Smallville] and it'll be the best decision anyone ever made. —Stef

Attn: Sony Pictures.? You need to put David Archuleta in your list for the role of Spider-Man. ?Peter Parker fits so well with David Archuleta's personality. —Simon

I think Danny McBride could bring something great to the role, but that's probably because I drink. A lot. —Matt
