Aja Naomi King
Aja Naomi King, HTGAWM: "I was at the Shondaland screening room tweeting with my buddies, watching it and enjoying it. I actually got to bring my parents, which was perfect, so that they could enjoy it too, in between trying to beat me up, because they’re always like, 'What is going on?!'"

Joshua Malina
Joshua Malina, Scandal: "I was pretending to watch the East Coast feed because I don’t actually get it and I didn’t go to the big party. My son has soccer practice, so Thursdays are an issue for me. I live-tweeted as I made dinner and pretended to watch. I actually watched the West Coast feed at 9 p.m., and then a half hour in, my son was like, 'Let’s go listen to our audio book,' because that’s our nightly ritual. So that was my half of TGIT."

Karla Souza
Karla Souza, HTGAWM: "I watched it at the screening with Shonda and everyone. There was wine, popcorn and pizza. They obviously have the wifi working. It’s a mini-theater and everyone was there. We all laugh, clap, talk, drink, eat and be merry. It was great.

Sarah Drew
Sarah Drew, Grey’s Anatomy: "I was in the screening room at Shondaland, with Kelly McCreary and Camilla Luddington and Debbie Allen. We were live tweeting and taking pictures. Camilla and I, our phones died, and we wound up against the wall charging, taking pictures of each other charging our phones while tweeting everybody. It was so much fun. There was pizza and wine. It was a blast."

Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez, Grey’s Anatomy: "I was at the True Colors Fund 40 to None summit in Houston. I’m on the board of directors for the True Colors Fund. The True Colors Fund’s mission is to end LGBTQ youth homelessness in this country. There are 1.6 million homeless in our country and 40 percent identify as LGBTQ. It’s just not right. It’s become my mission to help them. At the end of the night, everybody was at the summit went over to a reception and we all sat and watched it together."

Alfred Enoch
Alfred Enoch, HTGAWM: "I didn’t. I was on set and then I went home and worked on my script. I’m a boring person, that’s me. Simple taste. It was nice. It’s nice watching it and it’s cool seeing what’s going on, but it’s the doing it that I love. That’s the really exciting bit. It’s really satisfying to see how it comes together, and if you’re happy with an episode, it’s a great feeling. But the real excitement is being on set and playing the scene. That’s the thing I keep my eye on. Also, that’s my job. It doesn’t work to turn up the next day not having done the work on the scenes. I’m here to help tell that story in a way that’s truthful, exciting, interesting, whatever, but that requires me to be on it."

Chandra Wilson
Chandra Wilson, Grey’s Anatomy: "I was at home. I finished Scandal [she's directing an episode this season] early enough so I could get home and be with my kids. We all watched together."

Katie Lowes
Katie Lowes, Scandal: "I watched at my house on my couch, because I’ve learned that I can’t be around people when I’m tweeting like that. I just don’t listen, can’t focus and I get caught up inside conversations and miss a huge Twitter moment. So I literally go home, have it on, popcorn, wine, and nobody talk to me, nobody interrupt, I have to focus."

Shonda Rhimes, Viola Davis, Betsy Beers, Ellen Pompeo, and Peter Nowalk
Betsy Beers, Shondaland: "I watched it in two different places. I watched it at the office, where we were screening it so people could be live tweeting, and I also watched at home with my lovely husband and my dog, curled up in front of the television. I love watching it at home. I love watching it twice when I can. I like watching one of the feeds in the office and then at home, so I can see what it looks like on the TV and watch it live. It was really exciting. I never get over the excitement of when the season starts. I was talking to Pete Nowalk about this, but I just keep going back to the first couple of years of Grey’s, and now we have three in one night, so I don’t even have to move. It’s really easy. I just plunk my butt down and my husband keeps bringing me stuff, so it works out well."
Pete Nowalk, HTGAWM: "The East Coast feed I watched in my office. Luckily there’s a little computer so I could know exactly what to tweet when, so I don’t spoil things, because I’m kind of bad at that. Then I watched the rest of it on my couch with my dog for the West Coast feed."

Charlie Weber, Liza Weil, Katie Lowes, Darby Stanchfield, Guillermo Diaz, and Bellamy Young
Charlie Weber, HTGAWM: "I had just gotten back home. It was my wife’s birthday. I showed up. She wanted a bottle of Dom and a bag of In ’n Out. It was amazing. We watched the show and had a great night."
Liza Weil, HTGAWM: "I watched it in my house with my husband [Private Practice and Scandal star Paul Adelstein]. That’s primarily what I like to do. The East Coast is tough because East Coast is when we’re putting our kid to bed, so I’m not able to be present for that one, but I’m all in for the West Coast one."
Guillermo Diaz, Scandal: "I watched it at home alone, actually. I wanted to be alone. I was really nervous. I knew we were live tweeting both coasts, so I just sat at home, had some whiskey, had some food. I had a veggie burger with bacon. There you go. That sums up Guillermo Diaz on Thursday nights: Veggie burger with bacon and whiskey. I watched all three shows. I watched Grey’s. I was sobbing like a baby. Then I watched Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder. I loved seeing Viola make out with Famke Janssen, which was amazing. I was so excited about that."

Kevin McKidd, Jeff Perry, and Paul Adelstein
Jeff Perry, Scandal: "I was home. We were starting a new episode that we just got the pages for that late afternoon and I had three scenes to learn. Usually I’d get to watch Grey’s and Murder as well, but I was just cramming lines. I put it aside for the live West Coast version. Told the East Coast folks I’d have to be with them next week. Linda and I -- Linda Lowy, casting director of all things Shondaland -- we were tweeting from the couch."

Aja Naomi King, Jeff Perry, and George Newbern
George Newbern, Scandal: "I was actually at my kid’s school. I wasn’t able to watch it while it was happening. I came home and watched it on DVR on my couch. I pre-loaded some tweets. My thumbs are not good tweeting thumbs."
