'Sex and the City 2': What They're Wearing -- and Where You Can Buy It

Hell must've frozen over because we never thought we'd utter the words ''Samantha'' and ''bridal gown'' in the same sentence. But as shocking as this scene (or spoiler?) from filming on Sept. 18 may be, Cattrall is undoubtedly a vision in white.

If you didn't already know that SATC's veteran costume designer Patricia Field was back on board for the sequel, perhaps this green-blue-purple ensemble — signature Fields — that Parker donned while filming on Sept. 18 gave you a hint.

The littlest member of the SATC set, Lily (played by Parker and Alexandra Fong who are reprising the role) joined the cast for filming in New York City on Sept. 14. It's unclear where mother and daughter are headed, but what's certain is that Lily is becoming quite the fashionista in her tiered dress, adorable bow headband, and Bloch Girls' ''Little Luxury'' flats (available in purple, ronrobinson.com; $28.20 or the adult version: endless.com; $83.22). Charlotte played off Lily?s color palette in a mint green ensemble — a match made in fashion heaven.

Keeping with Charlotte and Lily's pastel theme, Kim Cattrall stepped out in a floaty purple number cinched with baby blue statement belt and Jee Vice's ''Red Hot'' sunglasses (jeevice.com; $250). But unlike her recent slip-up, Cattrall made sure to keep her most important accessory — her script — under wraps.

In the first sighting of our leading lady back on the Upper East Side, Sarah Jessica Parker's Carrie strolled down the street in a Halston Heritage dress with a Solange Azagury-Partridge necklace, Chanel clutch and Mykita & Bernhard Willhelm's limited edition ''Franz'' sunglasses in gold (patriciafield.com; $525).

The curls, the shoulder-baring sweatshirt, the Converse... could we be in the presence of a flashback? One theory has this as a look back at Carrie's move to the Big Apple (cross your fingers for a makeover montage!).

Parker paired her purple Halston Heritage dress with Jee Vice's ''Heated'' sunglasses (jeevice.com; $170), Christian Louboutin's ''Sylvia'' bag (available only in grey, saks.com; $1,795) and Louboutin's ''Gino'' T-strap heels (888-222-7639; $865).

We'd be hard pressed to believe Carrie would repeat an outfit, but in this snapshot from filming the sequel, the fashionista dons the same newsprint Christian Dior dress she wore in season 3's ''What Goes Around Comes Around'' — this time, paired with Christian Louboutin heels.

Cynthia Nixon joins Parker in the West Village for more filming and fashion in this stripe belted dress, lace-up heels and ''Padova'' tote by Lanvin (no longer available).

Parker accessorizes her taut tummy with Z. Cavaricci jeans and Brian Atwood pumps, which are from the designer's new resort collection (available in November).

The girls are back in town! The fab four reunite near the show's holiest of grails?luxury-shopping mecca Bergdorf Goodman?in very character-appropriate outfits.

High-powered lawyer Miranda (Nixon) films a scene wearing an RM by Roland Mouret's ''Bora'' sleeveless dress (net-a-porter.com; $1,580) and matching raspberry Christian Louboutin peep-toe pumps. Not pictured: her equally pink blackberry.

Staying true to their sartorial selves — even if in a different decade — Carrie goes edgy 80s-style in a vest, lace leggings and tulle skirt (the last perhaps a nod to SATC's iconic opening credits?) while Charlotte (Kristen Davis) could be off to the country club in her Lily Pulitzer-esque skirt and flipped 'do.

From Samantha (Kim Cattrall) we expect nothing but the boldest — which she brings with this 80s ensemble. Denim, studs, animal print and patent adds up to a whole lotta look, but Samantha's best accessory? That signature strut.

She may have made partner at her law firm in the series' third season, but Miranda (Nixon) shows her beginnings as an earnest lawyer-in-the-making in the sequel. Unlike her castmates' more playful 80s looks, Miranda's all about the conservative office style, but we can't decide what's more chuckle-worthy: her white sneakers and socks, or that unfortunate bowl cut.
