I would have liked a Scott Pilgrim nod, but I didn't expect it. Way off the HFPA's radar. —MrFord
Agreed! Scott Pilgrim totally deserved a nom for best comedy. —Sophie
Sophie, I agree 100 percent with you. Scott Pilgrim, in my opinion, was amazing and, along with Inception, the most original movie of the year. —Kevin

I am so shocked that Anna Torv and John Noble weren't nominated. I thought it was supposed to be about talent! And these two deserved more than anyone to be on that freaking list.—Mel
Can I just say, Anna Torv! Why the hell wasn't Fringe nominated, especially after this season!! —Ash
John Noble gets snubbed again. This year he was not only Walter but ''Walternate,'' diametrically opposite characters. And Anna Torv deserved a nomination for Olivia/''Fauxlivia.'' —Doris

I am VERY surprised Julia Stiles got the supporting nod for Dexter. I honestly thought that Jonny Lee Miller would get one and really believed this was Jennifer Carpenter's year. She has grown so much as an actress and as a character. I can't imagine her ever getting nominated if they don't think this was good enough. —Lance

The biggest snub for me this year from allllllll these awards so far is the lack of love for John Powell's majestic, robust, and extraordinary musical score to How to Train Your Dragon. Seriously, it's the best score since The Lord of the Rings. —paige

Raising Hope! Best new show on TV. I actually laugh every week. —hayleymac
Completely agree about Raising Hope. IMO, best new comedy on television, even better than many of the established comedies that pollute our airwaves. It's consistently funny every single week, and Cloris Leachman deserves a nod for her hilarious portrayal of MawMaw. ''Who the hell moved my vagina?'' —anon.
No love for Martha Plimpton for Raising Hope??? Sacrilege... —joeydg

NCIS was soooo snubbed! They always are! I mean, they are the number one drama on television, and us fans stay consistent even when they're running next to other big shows. The actors & show are epic. I'm sick of them not getting the recognition that they truly deserve. —Jenna

So disappointed that Weeds and Damages, and their fabulous casts, were snubbed, especially Weeds. I know some people have given up on Weeds, but it came back to top form this season and gets no reward. And what does Dexter's Jennifer Carpenter have to do to get some recognition? Guest-star on Glee or 30 Rock? Ridiculous. —Danny

Can't believe Michael Shannon didn't get a nod for Boardwalk Empire. He is the best thing on that show. I'm glad that Steve Buscemi and Kelly Macdonald got some recognition, though. They are both excellent. —AliSD

I just saw The Fighter, and to my mind, the best performance in the whole movie was Melissa Leo's as the matriarch. She was dead-on perfect. Amy Adams had one of her best performances, sure, but compared with Melissa Leo, she paled. —Tipper
