Twenty-five years ago Tuesday, on October 11, 1991, Michelle Pfeiffer (pictured above) hit the big screen with Al Pacino, Héctor Elizondo, Nathan Lane, and Kate Nelligan, starring in Garry Marshall's Frankie and Johnny. Penned by Terrence McNally, the flick earned acclaim, particularly for Pfeiffer for her turn as Frankie. The actress picked up a Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical, edged out only by Bette Midler, who took home the award for For the Boys.
