'Dancing with the Stars': Sizing up the new cast
Noah Galloway, partnered with Sharna Burgess
Galloway lost an arm and a leg while serving with the military in Iraq. He has since become a personal trainer and was named "Ultimate Guy" of 2014 by "Men's Health." Now, he's bringing his determination (and muscles) to the dance floor. Experience shows athletes have an advantage, if only for experience with the kind of intense workouts that are integral in preparation for the show.
Michael Sam, partnered with Peta Murgatroyd
Football players seem to be hit or miss in the show's history. It really comes down to elegance, and considering Sam's youth, we'll lean toward optimism about his chances.
Charlotte McKinney, partnered with Keo Motsepe
Model/actress Charlotte McKinney falls into the category of contestant expected to overcome the "just a pretty face (and body)" stereotype by proving that she has rhythm. So far, we have no reason to doubt her...but also no reason to put any money down in her favor. You know, if we did that sort of thing.
Patti LaBelle, partnered with Artem Chigvintsev
The 70-year-old diva is arguably the biggest name in this season's cast, but will her age hold her back? Being the oldest contestant, it's possible. But considering it's Patti freakin' LaBelle, we're going to go with no.
RedFoo, partnered with Emma Slater
LMFAO's RedFoo is no stranger to ''Dancing With the Stars,'' having performed on the show and acted as a guest judge. Can he use that experience to his advantage? And will all that hair hurt or help?
Riker Lynch, partnered with Allison Holker
So far, this singer-songwriter's greatest asset seems to be his hair, but so long as it swooshes properly, it's a pretty solid start. Spoiler: America loves guys with swooshy hair.
Robert Herjavec, partnered with Kym Johnson
You know what they say: When in doubt, recruit one of the investors from ''Shark Tank'' to attempt to dance in front of millions of people.
Suzanne Somers, partnered with Tony Dovolani
Actress/author Somers is a potential dark horse for the season. After all, she's no stranger to dancing on television (look up a burlesque number on a 1982 episode of ''The Tonight Show'' on YouTube for reference!).
Rumer Willis, partnered with Valentin Chmerkovskiy
Actress Willis is most widely known for her parents, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, and her support of the "Free the Nipple" campaign—so perhaps this will finally help her break out on her own? Or maybe she's just angling for a nip-slip.
Willow Shields, partnered with Mark Ballas
At the tender age of 14, the ''Hunger Games'' actress already has the whole ''cute'' thing going for her. Plus, how harsh can the judges be on a teen? Actually, don't answer that.
Nastia Liukin, partnered with Derek Hough
Former Olympians tend to do well on this show—we're looking at you, Meryl Davis!—and considering Liukin was a gymnast, the odds are in her favor.
