Who: Star Andrew Garfield and director Marc Webb are confirmed; there's speculation Jamie Foxx might make an appearance
When: Friday, July 19, at 4:05 p.m.
Where: Hall H

Sony is going Full Saga with the Spidey reboot series, already planning a third and fourth Amazing movie. That means the jam-packed sequel will set the tone for Spider-Man's cinematic adventures for the rest of the decade. Expect video footage showing off new baddie Electro (Foxx) and infant Goblin Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan.)

Comic-Con has a history of welcoming beloved short-lived TV series. Last year saw the emotional 10-year anniversary of Firefly reunion panel. Of course, this ain't just a reunion. The creator and cast of this fondly remembered UPN/CW series is back in town showing off footage from a whole goshdarn reunion movie, funded entirely by Kickstarter.

When: Thursday, July 18, at 3:50 p.m. (part of the Summit Entertainment panel)

Summit's next big YA franchise will be out in a big way at Comic-Con — the panel promises to feature the first footage ever seen of the movie.

Summit's other big literary adaptation will be at Comic-Con with all-new exclusive footage. Expect everyone to tiptoe around the whole Orson Scott Card thing . Expect someone to ask Ford a question about Star Wars.

Who: No one's confirmed now, but presumably director Francis Lawrence and stars Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson (unless it's just Elizabeth Banks in a crazy hat, which we're not ruling out)
When: Saturday, July 20, at 1:35 p.m.
Where: Hall H

It's the first-ever Hunger Games panel at Comic-Con. Perhaps you've heard of The Hunger Games?

Who: Marvel Studios president and lead pitchman Kevin Feige will definitely be there; beyond that, expect an appearance from Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, and possibly new cast members Anthony Mackie and Emily VanCamp
When: Saturday, July 20, at 6 p.m. (part of the Marvel Studios panel)
Where: Hall H

In stark contrast to Thor 2, the next Cap movie will supposedly look completely different from its predecessor. Feige has described it as a '70s-style paranoid thriller; new directors Anthony and Joe Russo are better known for helming sitcom episodes (and, um, You, Me and Dupree). Expect Twitter to light up on Saturday night with smartphone-recorded video of Sebastian Stan as the Winter Soldier.

Who: Feige again, possibly Chris Hemsworth and director Alan Taylor (who could earn a standing ovation from the Comic-Con crowd since directing several episodes of geek fave Game of Thrones); also, presumably your fantasy boyfriend Tom Hiddleston will make an appearance
When: Saturday, July 20, at 6 p.m. (part of the Marvel Studios panel)
Where: Hall H

The Thor sequel promises more. More magical creatures. More fantasy battles. More mystical realms. More Natalie Portman in peril. More Hiddleston hair. Expect to learn a bit more about the film's actual plot and probably get an extended look at new baddie Malekith (Christopher Eccleston.)

X-Men: Days of Future Past

X-Men | Get the full scoop in Darren Franich's Inside Movies post.
Credit: Twitter

Who: TBA (see below)
When: Saturday, July 20, at 4:15 p.m. (part of the 20th Century Fox panel)
Where: Hall H

Bryan Singer has been bullish about his return to the franchise director's chair, posting regular Twitter updates from the set, talking about how the new film could set up future films, and bringing back pretty much everyone from the original trilogy whose name doesn't rhyme with ''Mames Jarsden.'' Nobody even knows if this time-twisting franchise-knitting prequel/sequel will actually be at Comic-Con. But studio Fox has an hour and a half in a prime Hall H slot, and the movie opens next May. Expect Singer to bring along some attention-grabbing cast members. Maybe stars Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy. Possibly franchise mascot Hugh Jackman. Maybe Patrick Stewart? Regardless, even if Fox isn't planning a huge Future Past event, they'll presumably have something X-Men-related. Even a single clip of Ian McKellan talking to Michael Fassbender will set social media afire.

Who: Again, TBA
When: Friday, July 19, at 4:05 p.m. (during the Sony/Screen Gems panel)
Where: Hall H

Studio Screen Gems tells EW to ''expect surprises,'' so maybe Sissy Spacek and Chloë Moretz will walk onstage in matching blood-covered gowns? More likely there'll be a screening, and hopefully an appearance by Moretz, who's already a geek demi-goddess thanks to a string of attention-grabbing roles. She'll presumably also be in town to pitch her second go-round as Hit-Girl in Kick-Ass 2. Casting her as a seriously troubled teen seems almost too good to be true.

Who: Alfonso Cuarón and star Sandra Bullock are unconfirmed but expected
When: Saturday, July 20, at 10:45 a.m. (During the Warner Bros./Legendary panel)
Where: Hall H

The last time Cuarón released a movie, it was 2006's Children of Men, a masterful dystopiapocalyptic adventure that combined technical proficiency with genuine heart. Now he's back with a movie that sends Bullock and George Clooney on a terrifyingly realistic space adventure. The trailer alone gives you vertigo.

Specifics TBA

Marvel will screen its newest short film, focusing on Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell), the love interest in the first Captain America movie. Atwell's spry, Hepburn-esque Peggy was the best love interest in Marvel's Phase One — sorry, Gwyneth! — and the studio's newest mini-spinoff gives her a prime showcase. It'll supposedly lead into next year's sequel. Also, Bradley Whitford! (Learn more here.)

Who: Unknown, but probably director Gareth Edwards and stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson (who could also be in town pitching Kick-Ass 2). Hey, co-star Bryan Cranston will be in town for the Breaking Bad panel!
When: Saturday, July 20, at 10:45 a.m. (part of the Warner Bros./Legendary panel)
Where: Hall H

Legendary's reboot made waves last year with a short teaser trailer. This year, the movie will receive a full push. Director Edwards made the indie gem Monsters, which was basically a Godzilla movie made for a couple dollars. He's presumably got a slightly larger budget now.

Who: Maybe no one...maybe Tom Cruise
When: Saturday, July 20, at 10:45 a.m. (part of the Warner Bros./Legendary panel)
Where: Hall H

Warner Bros. bumped the sci-fi action thriller to a prime summer slot next June; it'll be surprising if they don't pitch it out to the geek audience at Comic-Con.
